On this day, in Port Wentworth, Georgia, we were allowed to participate in this city's annual parade. The #SUFAD or "Stand Up For America Day" parade. "Veterans and Their Pets(SM)" received some great publicity, as did Daisy! We had a blast shaking hands and thanking the citizens for coming out and cheer us and all parade participants on.
I had planned on leaving Port Wentworth soon after the parade finish, but by that time it was quite warm and humid out. Some new friends put Daisy and I up in their home for the evening. Tomorrow we will get an early start and hopefully be allowed to cross the Savannah River at the Hwy25 bridge, which is closed to the general public for construction.
